Rezparty Photo’s

It was last week already, but my RL as been hectic to the point of not having much time to write, or even just to sort out the pics from the party… I finally managed to get some time yesterday and pick a few pics, and today to write a small text about what was a wonderful night where me and my SL twin sister (Ana Vhargon) celebrated our very first rez day (ie: we started our second life in Second Life, one year ago… the birthday of our avatars).

I was quite doubtful about the whole thing. I tend not to like big parties with many people around, I go along well without the focus of attention on me… so… I was somewhat ambivalent about the whole thing. Happy for Ana & Summer to have organized a wonderful event to celebrate our rezparty… but expectant to how it would turn out.

One such anxious moment were the “15 minutes of mystery”! Lol… they were fun and a lovely gift and surprise from my sweety Summer. Loved it! (minus the endless suspense)

Then, we ride to the party! eheh, well… not really… but you get the point.

The party was at the lovely ‘For Us’ club, owned by my sis Ana and her husband JL. Lovely place and a great night of music planned as well. With great performances by Peltzer, Orangelife Holmer, TB Andel & Pa Dacosta. We had a great time, listing to all this wonderfull portuguese musicians. Thank you all

For some reason… It seems that only me and Summer decided to dance along the lovely tunes while having a blast singing along them… or trying in some cases. eheh. It was a great reminiscence of how we ocasionaly met for the first time

About 3 hours later the party ended with only a skeleton crew (but what a fine selection of skeletons, let me point it out!) of the large crowd that stopped by to wish an happy rezday to Ana (oh… and to me too, sometimes… lol). Poor sis, she got a sore throat from screaming over and over that it was also my rezparty as well

It sure was a memorable evening.

One I didn’t expected to celebrate one year ago… but one I will deeply remember for times to come. Thanks to you all that made it possible, specially my sis Ana and my sweetheart Summer

Winning

Yesterday night when I hooked my body to the virtual world of SL I got, as usual, a ton of notices from the groups I belong to. Amongst one of them was an hunt quest from my favorite SL store: Bare@Rose.

These games are quite common in SL and similar to an Easter egg hunt if you like. Normally a store owner or some other kind of sim owner spreads across their sim or store several semi-hidden objects… the objective is to find them all (or at least some of them, depends on the rules), and you either get some free stuff with each piece you find or, as was with the case of yesterday’s inventive and imaginative hunt from Bare@Rose, you get a complete stunning outfit after collecting all the tread pieces of the love story they created for the hunt.

And you have to admit that the two outfits together look really good !!

So, yeah, it was well worth it.

The outfit, according to June, the main creative brain of Bare Rose, is variation on one of their most sold outfits, only in red. And, well, its just stunning, both the male and the female version of them (as B@R stuff normally is), here seen in the also magnificent Japan Tempura Island.

Come to thinking about it this week is working out very well for me in terms of nice & free stuff… just this Monday (I think) I got another great outfit, for free as well, from the BareRose lucky chair (the Baron of the BlackLuck). Must be my lucky week…
